Guide to Accelerated Track Classes
Accelerated Track Classes offer intensive ballet training for committed students ages 7 and up, with class placement based on audition or teacher evaluation. Multiple class levels are available, each with its own schedule, tuition, and performance fees. For questions or placement assistance, contact the school directly.
Accelerated Track Classes are designed for dedicated students ages 7 and up who are ready to commit to multiple ballet classes per week. This program offers a structured, intensive curriculum aimed at rapid skill development in ballet technique, with supplemental training in conditioning, pre-pointe, and pointe work as appropriate for each class level.
Program Structure and Placement
- Eligibility: Ages 7 and above, with class placement determined by audition (held each May) or through a teacher evaluation. If a student misses the scheduled audition, families are encouraged to contact the office to arrange an alternative evaluation.
- Class Commitment: Students attend between 2 and over 9 hours of classes per week, depending on their placement and readiness.
- Curriculum: Classes feature a blend of ballet technique, dance conditioning, pre-pointe, and pointe (where age and readiness allow).
